Prince Harry, Meghan Markle blessed with daughter, name her ‘Lilibet Diana‘ Mountbatten-Windsor
Meghan Markle gave birth to a beautiful and healthy girl on Friday. Her first name, Lilibet which is a nod to Her Majesty The Queen’s nickname.
and her middle name is in the honor of her grandmother and Prince Harry’s mother “Lady Diana”. The baby is the eighth in line to the British throne.
A source added that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle the couple welcomed their child on Friday Morning at 11:40am and named her Lilibet “Lili” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor.
Their daughter weighed in at 7 lbs, 11 oz.
They added that Lilibet “Lili” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor was born on Friday morning in Hospital at Santa Barbara, California.
The Child and Mother both are healthy and well,Buckingham Palace also said that “The Queen, the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall, and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted with the amazing news.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle said that they named their second babu girl Lilibet after the Royal Family’s nickname for the Queen and the baby’s great-grandmother Lady Diana.
Lilibet is the Queen’s 11th grandchild and is 8th according to the throne. It means that the Prince Andrew, who was born 2nd in line in 1960, moves to 9th place.
In a message of thanks by the couple on the Official Website, they said:
“On June 4, we were blessed with the arrival of our daughter, Lili. “She is more than we could have ever imagined, and we remain grateful for the love and prayers we’ve felt from across the globe.”Thank you for your continued kindness and support during this very special time for our family.”
It adds that if anyone is wishing to send gifts then they can rather “support or learn more about” organisations working for women and girls.
They have not released any photos of their daughter. As, we should respect their privacy.
Prince Harry has also publicly reflected about his approach to parenthood recently, he said that he wanted to actually “break the cycle” of the “suffering” in the upbringing with his own children.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle who quit their roles as Royals in Last March 2020 Spoke last month about which the duke said moving to the US wasn’t the real part of the actual plan, but he actually felt that he had to put his own family & mental health first.
Lilibet’s older brother which is Archie, is not entitled to a royal title when he was born therefore Lilibet would also not be allowed to be a princess until Prince Charles becomes king, which are according to the rules set down more than 100 years ago.
Archie Harrison Mountbatten Windsor was born to the Duke & Duchess of Sussex at 05:26 BST (04:26 UTC) on 6 May 2019 at the Portland Hospital Located in London.Several landmarks were actually illuminated in different colours to mark the birth, including Niagara Falls, the CN Tower and the London Eye. His name was announced on 8 May 2019.
